Step by step process: how to remove gel polish

Step 1: Start with your clean nails and wash your hands. A clean canvas is the best & easiest to work with + you will remove and kill off any germs or bacteria that might be on top of your hands, or underneath your fingernails.

Step 2: Use a nail file and go across it over all ten of your nails. By doing back and forth swiping motions you will easily remove the top and upper coat of your gel polish. Be gentle yet persistent and you'll get it looking even!

Step 3: Once the upper coat comes off you should use the Bluesky acetone removal wraps. Place your nail inside of the wrap and seal it tightly around your finger. Place one nail at a time till all of them are locked in the wrap and ready to go! Luckily for you, there are 200 wraps to play with and use in one single pack!

Step 4: Push the wraps and make slight pressure over them. Let the wraps stay on top of your fingernails for 15 minutes so that they dissolve the gel polish properly.

Step 5: Slide the wraps off and enjoy your fresh outcome! Also, if there are any crumbs left on top of your manicure, simply use a nail buffer and buff the excess away! You can also remove some smaller pieces with a cuticle pusher, or you can use an orange cuticle stick.

PS: You could also use cleanser wipes on top of your nails before or after the removal process. These wipes will give you a clean base to work with + they will leave you with loads of shine in the end. Bluesky has an amazing deal and you can purchase these in a bundle set at a way affordable price point! They are called the Bluesky Cleanser Wipes & Removal Wraps Bundle + you get 200 each in a pack!

What is the aftercare like?

Now once your gel polish is off you should think about your hands, your fingernails, as well as their much-needed hydration! Our fingernails and our nails tend to dry out after the use of acetone or any similar acetone-based products.
Once your manicure is off and your nails are clean, you should use hand cream to restore the hydration.

Also, use cuticle oil to nourish your nails & your hangnails! You could try out the Bluesky nail treatment oil & cuticle conditioner.

Once you are ready to paint again, use the Bluesky base coat before you begin applying any colour on top! This will prepare your natural nails and will give them a clean & smooth base to work with.

So, do you dare to remove your manicure on your own at this point? As you can see, the process can be quite simple, as well as fun to do! Just make sure you have your needed tools, and you'll have fresh & clean nails in no time!
